The Budget Summary is a view only screen to see all of your detail expenses – personnel, non-personnel, and calculated overhead expense – in one place. The summary will add budget category sections as they are added to your budget details, meaning that if you do not budget travel expense, that row will not appear in the summary.
The budget Summary can be viewed via the Budget Summary tab option on the lefthand menu or by clicking on the option in the top banner along the top which will open a separate window to view the summary.
The default view displays the category totals but you can click on the lefthand arrow to expand the view to show more details. If the number of periods exceeds the screen capacity navigation arrows will generate to allow you scroll over and see the additional periods.
