Overview
The new Subaward FDP Forms for 2019 are now available in Kuali Research and utilize the new form generation functionality. The FDP forms will now generate in editable PDFs so that information mapped from Kuali Research can be changed as desired before sending to your subrecipient. Institutions can also generate the fillable FDP forms from the Print panel without completing any information in the Subaward if you want to manually complete. We also made several changes in the Template Information questions/drop-downs to streamline the overall experience of using the forms in Subaward.
Also, along with these FDP forms we have made changes to how attachments work in the Subaward module. The attachments panel in the Template Information tab will be attachments specifically related to the FDP forms and will print behind the FDP agreement. We are also adding a new Comments, Notes & Attachments tab in the Subaward module for all other general attachments; it will behave similarly as other Attachments tabs in other Kuali Research modules with a Comments, Notes & Attachments panel. The below articles are available in the Subaward section of our support portal and explain the Subaward functionality; including FDP forms. Be aware that some configuration is required before the FDP forms can be fully utilized which is outlined in the Subaward FDP Forms article. At minimum, the Enable_Subaward_FDP and Enable_FDP_Via_PDF_Service parameters must be enabled.
