Lead Unit will now Populate Automatically in a Kuali Protocol Upon Assigning a PI

When a study team is filling out a Protocol, certain information about the Principal Investigator often matches the data currently stored for that individual within the Kuali system. Now when adding a Principal Investigator to a Protocol on the initial create screen, it will automatically fill in the Lead Unit for PIs whom have a Primary Group associated with that person in their Kuali User profile.  This automatic population when assigning a PI will save time when completing the protocol form and the Lead Unit can always be updated as needed.  This functionality has been enabled in all STG and SBX environments and will be enabled in PRD on 12/15/2021.  If you have any questions please feel free to submit a support ticket.
