Protocol Attachment Dropdown Option Improvements

Updates to the protocol attachment dropdown options are coming on 12/4/2024 for an improved user experience . Now if you click on the attachment link it will give you the option to preview (if preview is available for the file type) or just download the file.  Previously you had to do the preview action first before the download option was available.

If the file doesn't allow preview (i.e. Word document) then only the download option will be available.

Also, if you have attachment watermark functionality enabled you will see 'With watermark' or 'Without watermark' options available under download for PDF attachments.  This allows you to download the file with the watermark applied or download the original file without the watermark:

Note: If the PDF file is too large to download with the watermark applied it will show 'With watermark' in red and upon clicking it will give an error 'Unable to watermark pdf'. Also, if for whatever reason the file is not present or did not upload correctly it will also show the 'Without watermark' or normal 'Download' options in red and throw an error if you attempt to download.
