MySQL Upgrade

In an effort to keep our software up to date, we will be performing maintenance on our mysql servers this weekend for the Sponsored Programs database. There should be no end user impact but we just wanted to make you aware of the forthcoming upgrade. We are planning to upgrade from Mysql 8.0.17 to 8.0.21. This is a minor update compared to our last round of upgrades, so impact should be minimal. We would like to upgrade our first round of read replicas on Saturday, January 23rd during our normal maintenance window of 8-10pm MST.  We plan to upgrade STG environments on the 23rd and then upgrade SBX/PRD environments on the 30th.  For those that have read replicas of their data we don't foresee any issues/conflicts but wanted to make you aware of the downtime.  Testing has shown a pretty smooth process with approximately 20 minutes of downtime.  If you have any needs or concerns please feel free to submit a support ticket.
