With the update to the dashboard experience and the introduction of dashboard cards to focus on providing transparency through all phases of the research lifecycle, users will now have the ability to filter all dashboard cards including:
- Proposals routing to me
- Proposals not routing
- Institutional Proposals work in progress
- Awards work in progress
- Subawards work in progress
- Negotiations
- Proposal Workload Assignments
In Dashboard Home users are able to apply multiple filters on each card and filters will remain applied after opening a document or logging out. Clicking on the filter icon will open up the Add Filter box where a user can choose the type of filter and add the filter information. The filter field is responsive and will be applied as you type, delete, or make any changes. Filters applied are indicated by the icon on the top of the card. Clicking on the x will delete the filter.
For example, to filter the Proposals routing to me by initiator, entering “Geof” in the field will display all proposals where the initiator of the proposal has “Geof” in the name.
Another example is to filter by Opportunity ID, if you enter R01 in the filter, all proposals for an R01 opportunity will display.
For date field filters, the entry must be a complete date and follow the format mm/dd/yyyy.
The Proposal workload assignments card, which can be sorted by each column, can be filtered by the same fields as the Proposal cards as well as by Current Request and Assigned Approver. For central offices, a user can filter by Assigned Approver to view the current portfolio assignments for a specific approver or team members. Filtering by Current Request will allow users to filter by the current routing stop for a proposal.
