Dashboard Post Award Card Changes

What can you expect?

The Dashboard cards for post-award in progress will be broken out to directly reflect the specific module. The current 'Post award in progress & negotiations' card will become 'Award in progress', then new cards will be added for 'IP in progress' and 'Subaward in progress'. A 'Negotiations in progress' card will be forthcoming in the coming weeks. We will continue to balance new work with support so Kuali will announce specific timing as we get closer to release. 

How will these changes roll out?

If your institutional admin currently has the post award in progress card turned on for the entire institution, all the new post award cards will be available to your customers automatically. Kuali will then check to see if an individual user has the card for post award in progress turned on. If that user does, then all three cards will be available to them automatically. If a user does not wish to see all three new cards, they may manage this process as they currently manage any card, by turning it off using the dashboard show/hide cards button. 

If the card is not turned on, you may choose to turn on the new cards. Each new card will have a separate on/off option to continue to match the current card functionality. This applies to both the institutional control as well as the individual user. 

When can you expect these changes?

Kuali anticipates that these changes will be rolled to production on Wednesday March 11th.
