Reviewers can now compare different versions of a disclosure to see exactly what changed between submissions — helping compliance offices streamline reviews and ensure accuracy.
💡 Why It Matters
When disclosures are updated and resubmitted, it’s essential for reviewers to understand what’s new or modified since the last approved version. The new Compare Versions feature makes that process fast, visual, and reliable — no more manual cross-checking.
🔍 How It Works
1. Turn on Compare Mode
While reviewing a disclosure as a COI Administrator or COI Viewer, you’ll see a new Compare Mode toggle in the top left corner of the screen.
Switch it on to enable comparison tools.
A Compare dropdown will appear, letting you choose which version to compare against.
By default, the system selects Last Approved Disclosure — but if the disclosure was previously sent back for revision, you can also choose Last Sent Back Disclosure once it’s resubmitted.
2. Review Highlighted Changes
Once Compare Mode is active:
New or added data appears highlighted in green.
Removed or replaced data appears struck out and highlighted in red.
You can also view attachments from either version while comparing.
This color-coded view makes it easy to spot exactly what’s changed at a glance.
3. Notes and Tips
If your disclosure includes dialog lists, open each one to check for changes to fields not visible in the main table.
Static fields (such as read-only project information) won’t display comparison highlights.
