Parameters - Enable_Direct_IP_Creation

Summary

The Enable_Direct_IP_Creation parameter allows you to enable creation of an Institutional Proposal without requiring a Proposal Log.  So when enabled (set to Y), if you click 'Create Institutional Proposal' it will generate version 1 of the Institutional Proposal that can be completed/submitted without requiring a proposal log or proposal development record to generate.  If disabled (set to N), the 'Create Institutional Proposal' will go to Proposal Log lookup to promote an existing proposal log to generate version 1 of the Institutional Proposal.

Valid Parameter Value(s)

The Enable_Direct_IP_Creation Parameter Value accepts a single value:

Parameter Value	Description
Y	A 'Y' selection will enable the IP creation from 'Create Institutional Proposal' and create version one of the IP; default value.
N	A 'N' selection will keep the IP creation as originally designed to require a Proposal Log to create the IP.
