Parameters - Include_Derived_Unit_Contacts

Summary

The Include_Derived_Unit_Contacts parameter for both the Award and IP namespaces allows you to include any added Unit Contacts in an IP or Award to be given the permissions on the 'All Award Unit Administrators' or 'All Institutional Proposal Unit Administrators' derived roles. This includes Unit Contacts that aren't specified in the Unit Administrator table under the lead unit.  The derived permissioning around Unit Administrators listed in the given unit for the IP or Award still exist.

Valid Parameter Value(s)

The Include_Derived_Unit_Contacts Parameter Value accepts a single value:

Parameter Value	Description
true	A 'Y' selection will give any Unit Contacts added the permissions added under the 'All Award Unit Administrators' or 'All Institutional Proposal Unit Administrators' derived roles.  Even if these users are not added in the Unit Administrator table.
false	A 'N' selection will not give these permissions to added Unit Contacts; who aren't already listed also in the Unit Administrator table under the lead unit - this is the default value for this parameter.
