Parameters - Report_Tracking_UNIT_Digest_Notification_Cron_Trigger

Summary

The Report_Tracking_UNIT_Digest_Notification_Cron_Trigger Parameter determines, via a quartz cron expression, the frequency of when batch notification due/overdue digest by Unit should be sent to Deans and Department Chairs (using the Unit Administrator table types).  These notifications are related to the Award Report Tracking functionality in the Award module and the specific ‘Award Report Tracking Unit Overdue Digest Notification’ in the Notification table (which must be active). This parameter is also only effective if the REPORT_TRACKING_NOTIFICATIONS_BATCH_ENABLED parameter is set to Y.  

By default, recipients of this digest as determined by members of the KC-AWARD All Award Unit Administrators role will be derived for unit administrators associated with the lead unit(s) of any due reports, in addition to any parent units. In other words, the digest will go out to unit administrators for the due reports or any parent units associated with the due reports. This behavior can be turned on or off via the Ascend_Unit_Hierarchy_For_Report_Tracking_Digest_Unit_Admins parameter.

Note: For each digest, it will show all of the Overdue reports grouped by PI, then list by due date, in rows by Award Number, then Report Class and then grouped by Report.

The Report_Tracking_UNIT_Digest_Notification_Cron_Trigger Parameter Value accepts a single value:

Parameter Value	Description
0 59 23 15 * ?	This parameter accepts a Cron expression. There are several guides for constructive cron expressions available on the web. The default value for this parameter will execute the batch notification at At 11:59 PM, on day 15 of the month.
