Summary
The MAX_FILE_SIZE_ATTACHMENT parameter allows institutions to define the file size limit allowed in Kuali Research Sponsored Programs modules. Only files that are at this limit or below will be allowed to be uploaded into Kuali Research and if over this limit it will result in a validation error. This parameter is used in conjunction with the MAX_FILE_SIZE_DEFAULT_UPLOAD parameter and we recommend keeping these parameter values consistent. Please be aware that allowing a very large file size (i.e. 200M) could cause long delays when attempting to upload.
Also, please note this file size restriction will also impact the file sent over for the HR feed process to populate users so if the XML file you are sending exceeds this limit it will error out. More information on the HR feed process can be found in the Technical - Configuring HR API article.
