Summary
The budgetPersonDefaultJobCode Parameter allows institutions to define what the default Job Code should be for a new person added to the Budget → Project Personnel section if the person being added does not have any active Appointments with Job Code data maintained in their Person Extended Attributes.

Example
If the budgetPersonDefaultJobCode Parameter is set to AA000 (in my example, Job Code AA000 = DEFAULT) and the person does not have any active Appointments with Job Code data stored in their Person Extended Attributes, then in Budget → Project Personnel section, the person being added will have his/her Job Code default to DEFAULT (AA000):

If the Person being added to Budget → Project Personnel section has active Appointments with Job Code data stored in their Person Extended Attributes, then the Person's Job Code(s) will be populated based on the data in their Person Extended Attributes and not based on the value indicated in the budgetPersonDefaultJobCode Parameter.
